BRUU Writers’ Group - Bull Run Unitarian Universalists

The BRUU Writers' Group is meant to provide a safe, positive environment encouraging writing, self expression and the creative talents of the community.  For more information, email the facilitator, Katherine Gotthardt at or call the church at 703-361-6269.

The Bull Run Unitarian Universalists (BRUU) Writers’ Group meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room behind the main office at 9350 Main Street, Manassas.  The group shares and workshops writing by members, friends and guests.  All genres are welcome.  No experience is necessary. Participants may read their own writing and receive feedback from group members, or just come to listen.

Two Adult Writing Groups - Bull Run Regional Library

These groups meet at Bull Run Regional Library to share their writing and offer encouragement and constructive criticism: 


Memoirs Writers, First Tuesday of the month, 10:15 am - 12:00 noon.


Writers of Children's Lit, First and Third Tuesday of the month, 7:00 p.m.


Writers of Adult Lit, First and Third Saturday of the month, 2:00 p.m.


New members are always welcome!

Writers Roundtable - Trinity Episcopal Church

The Writers Roundtable meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 9325 West Street in Old Town Manassas.  The group meets in the first floor library.  Ron Dunn is the moderator.  Bring whatever you are currently working on for reading and constructive criticism.  Poetry, fiction, non-fiction welcome.  Contact Ron at 703-494-4260 or e-mail him at
